It's amazing to think that 30 years have elapsed since this genre of music first hit the airwaves
, yet it has stood the test of time extremely well.
Today it remains as distinctive, innovative and uplifting as it did back then,
a fact born out by the continual appearance of samples and riffs from the era in more contemporary,
floor-filling club anthems by some of the biggest acts of today.
Very
much a "get up and dance" group, our playlist is largely 70's disco and funk orientated. We
cover a wide range of artists from the very stylish Chic, the irresistable disco queen - Donna Summer, the definitive floor-filling anthems of the Bee Gees, and the
creative and utterly superb Rose Royce, to name a few.
