The Lifeboat Inn, St Ives. Friday August 11th
The Tide was certainly on the flood this particular evening in St Ives. Solid nite, friendly crowd.
Camelford Stadium. Saturday 12th August
Our biggest event to date with around a 1000+ people, some of whom had driven down from Wales spesh! Not the best of sounds, but an experience all the same. Supporting "Platinum Abba" who managed to overcome the acoustic difficulties and rock the house.
Penzance Sailing Club. Thursday 19th August
Nothing more nor less than just a full on, OTT, totally mental night. Plenty of incident, gallons of adrenaline, some minor physical damage (to both gear and personnel!)
Outrageous costume effort by the crowd (as pirates naturally) so much so that, for once, the band felt distinctly underdressed.
Scorrier House. Saturday 20th August
|
The 4th and last nite on our mini-tour and universally acclaimed as the best to date.
Whilst various members of the band have dipped in and out at various times over the months, this was perhaps the first time the whole band was in "The Zone", together, pretty much all night.
How many times have we said it before - "yes", we will cheerfully play some toons for you and encourage you do dance, coz thats what we do, but we don't half respond to a warm, energetic, thoroughly appreciative audience - and this newly wed couple and their guests were all these things and more.
