Who needs heavy rain, mud, and a tent under 3 feet of water when you can lay low on the coast soaking up live dance music on your own front lawn? "We need" I hear you chant. OK, but its got to be the next best thing, surely. Firstly, some feedback I picked up on the night ....   "....fantastic; it really sounds like there's more of you in the band, there's so much going on!". Just what we like to hear. At the time I was utterly convinced that this was an honest appraisal by an adoring fan of the professional, totally authentic, full bodied sound that is "Discoinkernow". Perhaps it was, perhaps we are! But now reality has kicked in and I'm forced to accept that it was more likely a reference to the moment when Wals DJing skills and creative flair flooded through to the live performance. This occasion of artistic wizardry involved a totally original remix of "Get Down Tonight" (the band) coupled with "Blame it on the Boogie" (the drums). The amazing thing was that nobody else, band included, realised that anything unusual was going on until we were at least halfway through the second verse. Awesome. Fortgetful! Moi! OK, so there's only 4 strings but what about all those pedals. What surprised everyone about "Lady Marmalade" was the fact that we'd actually played the exact same song note perfect only 30 minutes earlier as part of our sound check. "You obviously can't manage it twice in one night" as our Frontline would say. Talking of sound checks, there almost wasn't one as Spiff did a last minute drop test on the Feedback Destroyer Pro just to see how robust it isn't.
And so to the encore. "What encore?". Indeed. OK, on an ever so slightly more serious note. Many thanks to Anne and Pete, their friends and family for the invite, the very warm reception and welcome refreshments laid on as a part of the evenings entertainment.  "More, More, More!"
